Newage Glass and Aluminium makes security screen doors to measure at its Smeaton Grange workshop and installs them with its own team across Blue Mountains. Drive times are 43 minutes to Glenbrook, 56 to Springwood, 87 to Katoomba, off peak. Our screens are made to AS 5039 with stainless steel mesh or aluminium options, for hinged and sliding doors. Measures and written quotes are free, and we reply within 24 hours.

Most mountain blocks are bushfire prone, so the screen is checked against the BAL rating on your certificate before we quote. Stainless steel mesh screens can form part of a compliant opening and keep insects out on warm evenings.
Many mountain cottages have older, out of square door frames. We measure carefully and make each screen to fit, then powder coat it to suit the home. Tell us about steep blocks and stairs so we can plan the install.
