Newage Glass and Aluminium supplies and installs aluminium windows and doors across CBD, Inner West and East, including Sydney CBD, Pyrmont, Ultimo and Surry Hills. Every frame is made to measure at our Smeaton Grange workshop and fitted by our own team. Inner Sydney homes are rarely standard. Terraces in Paddington, Surry Hills, Newtown and Balmain have narrow openings and original details, while apartments in Pyrmont, Zetland, Mascot and Rhodes need frames that suit strata rules and building performance. We measure every opening on site and make each frame to fit at our Smeaton Grange workshop.
Many Inner West and Eastern Suburbs streets sit in heritage conservation areas. Where council wants the traditional look kept, our double hung and sashless double hung windows give the classic proportions with low maintenance aluminium. For the rear of terraces and cottages, slim sliding and stacking doors open the kitchen to the courtyard.
Noise is a big factor too. Suburbs under the Sydney Airport flight paths, such as Marrickville, Sydenham, Tempe and St Peters, and homes on Parramatta Road or the main arterials often choose laminated acoustic or double glazed glass. In the Eastern Suburbs, homes near the ocean at Bondi, Coogee and Maroubra benefit from coastal grade finishes.
