Price depends on the width, the number of panels and the glass you choose. A stacker costs more than a standard two panel slider because of the extra panels and track, and double glazing adds to the price. We measure on site for free and give you a fixed written price before any work starts.

Usually, yes. For the same opening a stacker needs less hardware than a bifold, which folds on hinges and runs on a heavier track. A bifold clears almost the full width, while a stacker leaves the stacked panels in the opening. We can quote both so you can compare.
The stacked panels take up part of the opening, so you do not get the full width clear like a bifold. The track also needs a quick clean now and then so the rollers keep running smoothly. For most homes the lower price and simple use outweigh this.
There is no single standard size because we make each set to your opening. Common heights are 2100mm and 2400mm, and sets usually run from three panels up to six panels split to both sides for wide openings.
