Newage Glass and Aluminium makes aluminium sliding doors to measure at its Smeaton Grange workshop and installs them with its own team across Blue Mountains. Drive times are 43 minutes to Glenbrook, 56 to Springwood, 87 to Katoomba, off peak. Our Classic sliding door comes in XO, OXX and OXXO layouts, with panels up to 2700mm high, heavy duty rollers rated to 160kg and double glazing up to 18mm. Measures and written quotes are free, and we reply within 24 hours.
Glenbrook is a 43 minute drive from our Smeaton Grange workshop, Springwood 56 and Katoomba 87, off peak. We measure, make and install sliding doors across the Blue Mountains with our own team.
Most mountain blocks are bushfire prone, so every sliding door is checked against the BAL rating on your certificate before we quote. Our Classic slider has BAL options to AS 3959, and a security or insect screen can slide with the door.
Upper Mountains winters are cold, and old single glazed sliders lose a lot of heat. We recommend double glazing up to 18mm with Low E glass. Many cottages have older openings, so we measure carefully and plan the install around steep blocks and stairs.
