Newage Glass and Aluminium supplies and installs aluminium windows and doors across South West Sydney, including Liverpool, Casula, Moorebank and Prestons. Every frame is made to measure at our Smeaton Grange workshop and fitted by our own team. Popular choices here are double glazed window, double glazed door and classic sliding door. Measures and written quotes are free, and we reply to quote requests within 24 hours.
South West Sydney is our next door neighbour. From Smeaton Grange it is a straight run along Camden Valley Way and the Hume Motorway to Liverpool, Casula and Prestons, and on via the M5 to Moorebank, Chipping Norton and Bankstown. That keeps measures quick to book and lets our own team install, rather than a subcontractor sent from across the city.
The region is a mix of very old and very new. Edmondson Park, Leppington, Austral and Middleton Grange are full of new builds, knockdown rebuilds and granny flats, where we supply sliding and stacking doors, awning windows and double glazing from the plans. Older streets in Fairfield, Cabramatta, Canley Vale, Yagoona and Bankstown have brick and fibro homes from the 1950s to 1980s, where we replace worn timber and early aluminium frames to suit the existing openings.
Noise is a real concern here. Homes near the Hume Motorway, the M5, busy rail lines and the flight paths for Bankstown Airport and the new Western Sydney Airport often choose laminated or double glazed glass. It is also a hot part of Sydney in summer, so Low E glass is a popular upgrade for west facing rooms. The ranges Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown customers ask for most. All made to measure in Smeaton Grange.

Edmondson Park, Leppington, Austral, Middleton Grange and West Hoxton have steady new build work. We quote from plans and deliver to the builder's schedule.
Dual occupancy and secondary dwellings are common in Fairfield and Bankstown. We supply matching frames across both dwellings so the whole block looks consistent.
Cabramatta, Canley Vale, Yagoona, Padstow and Revesby have many mid century homes. We measure each opening and make replacement frames to suit.
Inland suburbs heat up well beyond the coast. Low E and double glazed glass cut heat through large sliding doors and west facing windows.
Liverpool, Fairfield, Cabramatta and Bankstown have busy shopping strips. We make shopfronts, commercial doors and security screens for local businesses.
Match the job to the right window, door and glass. We confirm every choice at your free measure.
| Your situation | What we recommend | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Bedroom near the Hume Highway, M5 or rail line | Double Glazed Window | Double glazing cuts outside noise and heat. |
| Duplex or knockdown rebuild | Classic Sliding Door | Matching sliding doors and windows across both dwellings. |
| Older bungalow with worn frames | Sliding Window | New sliding windows made to fit the existing openings. |
| Shop on a busy strip | Glass Shopfront | Aluminium shopfronts with toughened glass and commercial locks. |
In South West Sydney, the main things to plan for are road, rail and aircraft noise, summer heat. Here is how each glass option helps, so you can compare before your free measure.
| Glass type | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Toughened safety glass | Heat treated to around four to five times the strength of standard glass. If it breaks, it crumbles into small blunt pieces. | Doors, low windows and bathrooms where AS 1288 calls for safety glass. |
| Laminated glass | Two panes bonded with a clear interlayer that holds the glass together if it breaks and blocks most UV. | Security, street facing rooms and less fading of floors and furniture. |
| Acoustic laminated glass | Laminated glass with a sound dampening interlayer. | Bedrooms near main roads, rail lines and flight paths. |
| Low E glass | A very thin coating that reflects heat, keeping summer heat out and winter warmth in. | West facing rooms and large sliding doors. |
| Double glazing | Two panes with a sealed gap between them. Cuts heat transfer, outside noise and condensation. | Year round comfort, quieter rooms and cold winters. |
| Bushfire rated glazing | Glass and frames specified to your Bushfire Attack Level under AS 3959. | Homes on bushfire prone land. |
Residential windows in Australia are rated to AS 2047 for wind, water and air. Energy performance is shown as a U value (heat loss) and SHGC (solar heat gain), and many products carry a WERS rating. We explain the numbers at your measure.
Send a few photos and rough sizes. We will point you in the right direction before the measure.
