Newage Glass and Aluminium makes aluminium sliding doors to measure at its Smeaton Grange workshop and installs them with its own team across Illawarra and Highlands. Drive times are 45 minutes to Thirroul, 53 to Wollongong and Bowral, 80 to Kiama, off peak. Our Classic sliding door comes in XO, OXX and OXXO layouts, with panels up to 2700mm high, heavy duty rollers rated to 160kg and double glazing up to 18mm. Measures and written quotes are free, and we reply within 24 hours.
Thirroul is a 45 minute drive from our Smeaton Grange workshop, Wollongong and Bowral 53 and Kiama 80, off peak. We measure, make and install sliding doors across the Illawarra and the Southern Highlands with our own team.
On the coast, sliding doors face salt air and wind driven rain. We fit the high performance sill on exposed doors, use stainless rollers and a coastal grade powder coat, and check the wind rating to AS 2047 for your site.
In the Highlands, winters are cold, so we usually recommend double glazing up to 18mm with Low E glass. Some rural and escarpment blocks are bushfire prone, and we check the door against your BAL rating before we quote.

Residential windows in Australia are rated to AS 2047 for wind, water and air. Energy performance is shown as a U value (heat loss) and SHGC (solar heat gain), and many products carry a WERS rating. We explain the numbers at your measure.
